There are five grades of the material Glucosamine Sulphate available to manufacturers.

The highest Grade is: 75% active ingredient Glucosamine to 25% Sulphate. This is the most expensive grade.

Using 1000mg of this powder to make a Capsule or Tablet would provide 750mg of the Active ingredient Glucosamine and 250mg of the Sulphate. (This is why Ultimate Nutrition State: take 2 per day, as you need 1500mg of the Active ingredient)

The Lowest Grade is: 15% Glucosamine to 85% Sulphate.

Using 1000mg of this powder to make a Capsule or Tablet would provide 150mg of the Active ingredient Glucosamine and 850mg of the Sulphate. You would need to take 10 tablets per day of this grade.
